This was the ideal trip. 4 days in the rain forest followed by 4 days on the beach. We had the chance to rappel down cascading waterfalls deep into a canyon, trek through the rainforest, zip line from tree to tree high above the jungle floor, and surf the waves of the Pacific. But we also had time to do absolutely nothing...relaxing at the hot springs, listening to howler monkeys outside our jungle hut, gazing at the erupting volcano, and laying on the beach.

Jamaica Mon

Once you get past the death defying cab ride from the airport, the random goats and chickens that wander about, and the snail's pace at which everything is done, you'll have a wonderful time. Leave the tendancy to rush, hurry, and speed through life back in the good old U.S. of A. The hustle and bustle will be there when you return. While in Jamaica, celebrate the differences...the food, the culture, the music, the beauty, and the faint smell of ganja as the sun sets...or rises...well, pretty much all day. One thing you'll learn is that you can live with absolutely nothing. (except of course a DVR) Check out our online album HERE

A Cabin in the Mountains

This is what horror films are made of. Just the 4 of us (including Rex and Rummy Bear) all alone in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Who thinks this is actually a good idea? Apparently we do. Sure it was creepy, but the hottub with the colored lasers and the pool table were awesome.
